Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, popularly known as Tom Cruise, an American actor churned record breaking hit films over the years is a successful film producer as well. Cruise was ranked as the "world's most powerful celebrity" by the Forbes magazine in 2006. Tom has been nominated for Academy Awards thrice and has won three Golden Globe Awards. Top was noticed and several heads turned, for his role of a desperate naval pilot in the popular 1986 film 'Top Gun'. Cruise carried on with his same zeal portraying his maverick image forward, playing a secret agent in a series of Mission: Impossible action films in the 1990s and 2000s. Cruise's height remains somewhat in dispute. He himself is quoted as having said in 1988: "I have always been pretty much the same weight, 147 pounds - at 5Â feet 9Â inches (175Â cm)." However, the Internet Movie Database quotes him as only 5Â feet 7Â inches (170Â cm) tall.

Nicole Kidman

Cruise met Nicole Kidman on the set of their film Days of Thunder. The couple married on December 24, 1990 and divorced on August 8, 2001. He and Kidman adopted two children, Isabella Jane (b.
