Beauvais was born in St. Marc, Haiti, to Maria Claire, a nurse, and Axel Beauvais, a lawyer. Beauvais has six older siblings. At age seventeen, Beauvais went to New York to pursue a career as a fashion model, and was signed with Ford Models and Irene Marie Models in Miami.
